Maximum Doppler Frequency Detection Based on Likelihood Estimation With Theoretical Thresholds

This paper proposes a novel maximum Doppler frequency detection technique for user moving velocity estimation. The is estimated in the proposed by making use of fact that not distributed continuously. fluctuation channel state information during packet applied detection, which likelihood estimation performed comparing with thresholds. thresholds are theoretically derived on assumption an exponential function. An approximated to simplify theoretical threshold derivation. performance evaluated computer simulation. accomplishes better as values summed over more packets. achieves about 90% correct fading Eb/N0 = 35dB, when only three Furthermore, also same performance.
